邀请信
邀请信是邀请某人参加某种仪式、会议等的应用文，其写作要点如下：
(1)开头首先表明写作意图，向某人发出邀请，指明地点、日期、时间等要素。
(2)表达你渴望见到对方。如果是商务性质的，注明时间、会议地点、发信主题、组织者、出席者等。留下联系人的姓名、地址和电话号码。

告示类应用文
告示类应用文的写法各不相同，但大致上也有统一的格式和要求。比如，首先要写明告示的种类，如寻子启事，遗失启事，招领启事，迁移启事，征稿启事，鸣谢，招标启事，更正启事，开会通知，海报，公约，守则或规则，书刊介绍等。然后注明日期，接着便是公告的内容，最后是公告单位或个人的署名。
告示类应用文的标题非常重要，要求点名告示的主旨，一般为词组性短语，基本结构如：名词＋过去分词，如：ContributionsWanted，ChildLost；现在分词＋名词，如：LookingforaSpouse，ExchangingHouse；介词结构，如：ConditionsforCarRental，NoticeofDismissal，NoticeofaDecision，ChristmasClearanceSales等。
再则，告示类应用文的时态一般用现在时或将来时，也可以用现在进行时表示近期即将发生的事情。
