how old 意思是 “多大,几岁〞 ,用于询问对方的年龄。西方人一般不喜欢别人询问自己的年龄，特别是年长的人，他们认为询问他们的年龄是不礼貌的。如果在某种必要的场合，确实要问，可以委婉地说：How old are you ? 请告诉我你的年龄好吗？
How old is he /she ? 他/她几岁了？
How old are they ? 他们几岁了？
2．I’m five .= I’m five years old. 我五岁了。
He /She is thirteen = He /She is thirteen years old .他/她十三岁了。
They are fourteen.= They are fourteen years old. 他们十四岁了。
